is there a 12 step program for peekers???
My name is Tami.... And i am a peeker!
I just looked at my registry...........................
I cant help myself... i tried... but curiosity got the best of me.... the worst is i tried to rationalize with myself as to why i SHOULD and SHOULDNT peek!!!
----Really Tami! was it necessary to see just what has and hasnt been purchased yet! YES you did register at 2 different stores, and double register for some of the same stuff at both... but wouldnt it have been just as easy to have your sister do any editing for you.... You know that you were just trying to find a way to make it RIGHT in your mind to LOOK!----
i peeked at my bridal registry AND the baby registery with my son... i promised myelf i wouldnt peek this time.... I feel so guilty like i cheated on a test or something... i needed to fess up...

Tami! You're so funny! I don't think there is a 12 step program, but I am totally with you. By shower is in a couple weeks and I am already peeking too. For me, I rationalize that I need to know how much to budget for (all the stuff I am going to have to buy for myself), but that's total BS. I just want to know what cute things I am getting (0:

My sisters best friend (who has no job and is on section 8) made an insanely expensive registry. The night before her shower she peeked, then had the nerve to call my sister screaming that no one had bought her the $600 glider she wanted, and why couldn't we have all chipped in? Why were we all so cheap??? Crazy :(

I actually got a little heart broken the week before my shower, because nothing had been purchased.. (pathetic i know...i shouldnt be sad)
I did however stop peeking, because I didnt want to be disappointed anymore, and sure enough...my sister told my family I was a peeker so NO ONE took the registry papers to the register and just purchased things...THEY TRICKED ME!!
