I agree...totally normal for the breastfeeding but the good news is that it does go away. I can't say anything about the episiomoty as I had 2 c-sections...

 Libby was a champ at breastfeeding but about 2 weeks into it I almost gave up  because it hurt so bad.  I cringed every time I thought of the next feeding, and not because I didn't enjoy it.  I cringed because it was so painful to start off with.  I used everything BabysRUs and Target sold, none of it helped.  Julie then turned me on to Earth Mama Angel Baby Nipple Butter and OMG that stuff was amazing!!!!!!  It was a bit pricey, but I think the jar I have is still more than half full and Libby breastfed for 6 months, so it is well worth it.  I got it at a natural foods store here, Sprouts.  I HIGHLY recommend it.  It is far better than any stuff you can buy in Target, Babys R Us, etc.  Trust me.  I used it every time I fed Libby and even used it while pumping and it worked wonders.

Lucky!!! I know you dont feel lucky but ONLY 2 stitches - WOW thats great. I had 70 with Nylah.
