Not too many posters last week. Hope you are all doing well. Quick post today, I have to go to work. To those that posted last week, personals below. To those lurking out there, come join the support! And to my friends that haven't been around, constantly praying for you guys! Shari

Kim~ I am glad your surgery is finished. How did the follow up go? Also will they do an hsg to check your tubes? Keep us posted.
Nikki~ Welcome!! Sounds like you have a plan. I think just not preventing is a great 1st step because ttc can be stressful. I would however track your cycle lengths. I have pcos with insulin resistance and long irregular cycles. They say at your age to give it a go for about a year before seeking help...but since your ob is on your side I would say give it 6 months. They can run some baseline tests to confirm pcos and maybe put you on a medication called metformin to help regulate your cycles. With pcos carbs are our enemy. A good gd is the way to go, so kudos to you for doing it...it is hard. Keep us posted okay. Oh, and cool website by the way. Even though I had wls I am still plus size and it is cool to know the site is there. Also a good site for you to check out if you are concerned about pcos is soulsysters.com
Sherry-Lynn ~ I am stalking your chart. Looks like o will be anytime. Keep that bd up okay! Good luck! Oh, and where are you that you are charting in celsius and not farenheit??

Hi Shari,

I am in Ontario, Canada and I picked up a celsius themometer, that is why...LOL  I think I o'd a couple of days ago, not 100% sure, but O tests got fairly dark now they are getting lighter and I think my temps have been off the last couple of days due to sleep issues, waking way to early (ummm, shhhh, BDing in the middle of the night I think we covered our bases but will hopefully continue for a few more ) and not getting back to sleep. CD22 now and keeping FX!!!!  Also I didn't buy the vip package for FF so I have to watch the chart myself it won't tell me the o date or how many dpo.  Same as the other chart I use, won't use my CC over the net.

Hi

Had my follow-up yesterday, luckily nothing out of the ordinary.  Everything was ok, and it wasn't cancer thank goodness.  Not that they thought it was.  I asked for and HSG, so I will have to wait until my next cycle.  She was curious as to why I would like it, because she would like me to try IVF.  I don't have the funds for that procedure, (13 thous) I wish I did, but since my uterus is cleaned out, and hopefully my tubes will be as well, I told her we were going to try on our own.  If it's meant to be, we will be lucky with three, if not, I already have 2 great ones.

  Have a good one ladies

Thanks! I feel so official!
I started my period today, which is really exciting! My last period was at the end of February. I can easily go over a year without having one. Dieting is what brings them back. Such positive reinforcement!
Not related to pregnancy, but another big exciting thing going on now... My DH and I are in the process of buying a house! We are set to close on July, 2! I am so excited! Now we just need a baby to put in the house :)
Have a great weekend everyone!

If someone wants to walk me through this whole charting thing, I'd be much appreciative. :-)

DH and I have decided we are going to start now, ttc for #5. Yep, you heard me, 5. We've adopted our eldest two children, and my babies and 3 and 5. We want our one more, and wouldn't mind if she were a girl since it's all men in this household! LOL

Good luck to all!
