When do you feel something? (repeat, I'm sure)

I am 15 weeks, 4 days along. I keep reading about others on here feeling 'flutters' and stuff. I have felt nothing!

I also have no 'baby bump' to speak of. However I did lose 100 pounds and have some 'extra baggage' down there, so it's probably hiding behind all that. Also, I understand that with a first pregnancy it takes longer to show.

When did you first feel "something"?

Hope everyone is well!!

Is this your first?

I didn't start feeling anything till 18/19 weeks.  Then it wasn't flutters so much as a poke now and then.  I wasn't even sure about it until a week after when they started happening more frequently.

With my first pregnancy, I believe it was between 16-18 weeks that I first felt some flutters and it only happened at night when I'd lay down to go to sleep. As far as the baby bump, that's normal too in first pregnancies. It could take up to the 5th month I've heard.

The first time I was ABSOLUTELY sure it was the baby and not just gas was around 18 and a half weeks. I may have felt her before that, but I just wasn't 100% sure. And as far as the baby bump goes, people still think I am like 5 months pregnant and I am over 7 months. I didn't start really showing until like 25 weeks. It was pretty sad to me, but I am sure I'll be happy later when I have less of a belly to lose. Or maybe I'll still blow up in the next couple months. Who knows?

I knew for sure I felt my first baby move when I was around 18 weeks.  The second time around I felt the baby move around 16 weeks.

I never looked pregnant with either pregnancy (unless I wore clothes that would have made me look pregnant regardless).

Congrats.

I have a large panni from weight loss and still have weight to loose. I first started feeling what I thought was something at 17 weeks. Then, I felt flutters around 18 weeks. I 100% knew it was the baby at 19 weeks. At about 20 weeks I would feel him kick when I layed down at night and by 21-22 weeks I was feeling him throughout the day.

I am almost 20 weeks and haven't felt anything. I was getting a little worried about that but the OB told me yesterday that I have an anterior placenta so it will still be a few weeks before I can feel anything. I am looking HUGE but everyone is different. Some of it is what skin I have being pushed out more but most is baby for me. I met a woman who is preggo with twins and one day behind me and she was small.

I was 18 weeks when I was certain that it was the baby moving. Hubby got to feel baby move around 20 weeks.

I too have some extra weight around my belly still.

Good luck and congrats!

I have been feeling little flutters at night for the past couple of nights. It doesn't feel like gas...feels different.

I was still kind of pudgy when I got pregnant, but what has been interesting is that my torso has become sort of a rock-solid column. Not a bump, but I'm hard all over. I definitely feel the expansion under my abs.

Here I am 17 weeks pregnant with NO belly bump at all:

I thought I felt flutters at week 16, but it wasn't really until about 20 weeks that I felt sure it was actually the baby and not gas.

Now she's movin' and kicking all the time and I've got a sizeable belly and everything is fine.

So yeah, don't worry.  First timers take longer for everything to happen.  :)
