I'm dialated to a 3+!
I am stoked! I have had a bad week this week- For most of it I was so exhausted and felt soooo sick. Today I have a little more energy, probably nesting. I have been super anxious too. At the appt the boys are still measuring under 6 lbs each though, but they are 36 weeks today, so hopefully they'll still be ok. The Dr. thinks that she'll see me this weekend, as I am still contracting lots. I have more cramps too, that radiate into my legs and back, which started yesterday, so I am sure things are getting closer.
In thinking about it, I think I prefer the induction route. With my daughter I was induced at 39 weeks, dialated just to a 1, but because she wasn't growing they decided to induce. I struggled with that for the few days before. But this time I am scared to death of waiting for true labor to start! At least there was some control with an induction, in that I was in a hospital the whole time. Waiting at home is making me nervous! Ah well. Sorry for the rant. Going to finish my hospital bag....

I was a 3 for two weeks before I went into labor a day before my scheduled induction at 39 weeks. i was induced with my other 2 pg's so this was all new to me to go into labor on my own. It took 12 hrs with my first and 4 1/2 hrs with my 2nd baby. And with my 2nd, I went from a 3 to a 10 in an hour!! With this one, I was a 3 the last time the dr checked me and I got to the hospital and was a 9 with 3 min apart contractions!! I had him less than 2 hrs after getting to the hospital. That was nice to not have to be induced, but I wouldn't choose to go into labor again on my own! lol
It's good you've gone so far with having twins, hopefully you will go quicker this next time. Usually the first labor is long and then the 2nd and after that goes quicker. Just know that when your contractions are 3-5 mins apart and last for 60-90 seconds each- time to get to the hospital! I went in with BH contractions a week before my induction and was monitored for 2 hrs and they sent me home. My BH were all over the place but I didn't know if it was true labor or not. That's what they told me when it's time to come in and get admitted. GL!
