Yeah! I'm so excited to hear how everything goes and if you're going to be having a boy or a girl. I am going to say girl!

How exciting!  You could be holding your baby in your arms by the end of the day!!!

Geeeeesh!   Sorry Liz.   Makes me wonder....are you supposed to wait til you resemble a red-headed whirling dirvish frothing at the mouth or something??   Ye Gads!   Go put your feet up and rest; Mom too.

Bsically! She told me that I should call when I don't want people near me because I am in so much pain, she said I should be at a point where I "loose it". That scared me a bit because I have been in pain before (post op gall bladder was horrible) but I hever lost it - I still have the ability to fake a smile and force a laugh, it's just my personality.

I wouldn't necessarily agree w/your dr about 'losing it.' It all depends on you, your personality and your pain tolerance.  I never 'lost it' when I was in labor.  My dr was amazed at how calm I was...said he'd never had a first time mom that calm.  LOL...I think part of it was because I had been w/a friend during the birth of two of her kids...and the first one, kept trying to get up out of the bed (after having the epi), saying she changed her mind and wanted to stay pregnant...then screaming and screaming w/the labor.  I was determined I was NOT going to act like that.

When it's the real deal...you'll suddenly know the difference between the 'false labor' and the real thing.  Hang in there...you know one way or the other...this baby's coming out - SOON.

Wow, a baby actually born on his/her real due date!  How cool!

How are you doing now, Liz?  This is soooo exciting!

What do contractions feel like?  Are you in a lot of uncomfortable pain or is it still managable?

I am OK thanks. Contractions have slowed some.

The  contractions I have had range from PMS like cramping to what really bad diarreah cramps feel like - apparently they are going to get a lot worse according to the OB. I am uncomfortable but I breathe through them and it's manageable. Now when I am into full blown labor I'll let you know if that changes! lol
