I feel like crap!

I'm so frustrated with my doctors office! I called them last week for contractions and they never called me back and now today I've called them and it's been over an hour and they haven't called me back. At least if they think it's not important, they should call and tell me everything will be fine, not leave me hanging. I'm so pissed off! I don't want to get dehydrated, but everytime I drink something, I am to the toilet within 10 minutes, so it's worrying me.

Is Immodium AD on your approved list? It's on mine. You may need a dose or two. What happens if you call after hours? My office puts you straight through to the Dr's cell, where I leave a very short message and she calls me back directly, thus bypassing all the office crap. Not sure how yours works, but that could be an option if they still don't call you back. Hopefully you'll start to feel better soon!

They finally called me back. The nurse was acting stupid about the lap band. She kept saying to check with my GI doctor as to what I can take. I said, I know what I can and can't take with that, I need to know what I can take with the pregnancy! I'm more concerned about dehydration and issues concerning the baby than my band. She did say I could take Immodium, so my hubby is bringing me some home on his way from work.
