I feel like crap!

I really don't think this is pregnancy related, but I'm not sure. The past couple days I've been a little nauseous. I can't make myself eat hardly anything and drinking is hard too. I am so tired, I can hardly stay awake and I'm lightheaded too. I almost feel like you do after you take cold medicine, ya know, kinda loopy and weird. I called my doctor a couple days ago and she said just to drink and rest. Well, I am trying everything I can to make myself drink. I was able to get down 32 oz of gatorade yesterday and thought I was feeling a little better. Well now today I am having horrible diarrhea (sorry TMI) like every 10-15 minutes. This has got to be a bug, right? The baby is moving normally so when I called, they didn't think it was that important. I'm just concerned that either this is the start of labor, cause I have been having some contractions for the last week so I just got some kind of sickness. I am drinking more gatorade today, but it just seems to go right through me. After I take a few sips, I have a few minutes then have to run back to the bathroom. I sure hope this isn't pregnancy related, cause I can not deal with this another 4 weeks!

I just wanted to say that I am sorry you are feeling like crap and hopefully it is just a little 24 hour bug and will go away on its own!

So sorry you are feeling like that. That really sucks. I have no idea if it could be pregnancy related, but I just wanted to say I am sorry you are feeling so bad. Is 32oz all the liquid you had yesterday? If so, that's so not enough and dehydration can make you have diarrhea. Hope you feel better soon!

Yes, that is all I could drink. Today I've only drank 16 oz so far. Everytime I drink even a sip, I have to run to the toilet. I have a call into the doc but they are not good at getting back to me.

Do you have some sugar free popcycles?  Those might help with your fluids too.  Sounds like a virus.  Rest, drink, suck on popsycles, take it easy.  If the diarhea last more than a day or two though you should call the doc.  They may be able to give you something or get you fluids via IV if necessary.

It sounds like a bug when I was 26ish wks with molly i got a stomach virus and after about 18hrs of puking and going to the pot I was contracting every 4-5 min and had no urine output I ended up being admitted for almost 3 days....she said my labs were horrible anyways we made it through....but if you ever feel like something isnt right go get checked.


hubby baby and i are all sick right now with the stomach bug its awful started out with bathroom issues then the vomiting hit. it sucks i think we are at the end of it...praying it leaves quickly for all of us!
