birth update

ok guys been a while and been a hell of a ride baby SAMANTHA KYARA WAS  born early on monday 5/10/10 5.3 lbs 19in long !!  emergency c section she was not due till 6/04/10!!! after routine stress test and couple of scares was sent out to high risk doc to run more test and was determined she had cord wrapped around her neck and flow back to placenta had deminish!! so she was born at 6:43pm... had some troulble oxiganating so was taken back to nicu!! i did not get to see her for almost 24hrs...devastating for me thankfully shes doing much  better now had a little jaundice as well and is tanning under bily lights but getting stronger and more beutiful each day ...scared, and overwelmed but holding on.i know my baby girl will be home soon and ill be able to hold and kiss and touch her as i please. its a litte hard trying to take care of myself am down to 183lbs from 205  not on purpose either i couldnt care less about my weight! but anywho just venting a little guys please pray for us .well keep you updated.

Congrats on Samantha's arrival.  I'm glad the drs were paying attention and were able to catch the cord problem before anything tragic happened.  I know it's got to be hard w/her not being home with you right now, but prayerfully she'll get stronger quickly and be home soon.
