I'm dialated!
Well, my 35 week checkup went well. The boys are slowing their growth a lot though- which happens with twins but I think they'll be small. My daughter was small though, so I suppose some of it could be genetic (Not from my side). I am now in a frantic panic about getting a few preemie outfits, keeping the tags on, and bringing them along just in case.
But I am rambling. I am dialated! Nearly a 2. This is exciting news as I sat at a 1 with my daughter for three weeks and had to finally be induced to bring on labor. I have a ton of contractions though- some are Bh, but some must be the real thing, because of the dialating. The placentas are still functioing well as are the umbilical chords, so that is good news too. I see my Dr. next week, so we'll see if I make any more progress! I am stoked that I am at least dialated. These contractions have been really painful at times and I didn't want to get my hopes up to go today and have her say that things were closed and tight! Yea for dialating a little!
I also have a question. I know that bleeding after an internal exam is normal, but when I got home after the appt. and went to the bathroom I had a lot of bright red blood- I mean, I had to put on a liner and have to soak my underwear and pants now- TMI! It was a lot. Has this happened ot anyone? I called back and left a message for a nurse to call, just in case. I have read that this is normal, but it always seemed like normal was a little blood, not continual bleeding. Just thought I'd ask you ladies! Thanks for reading my novel!

I bled really bad after my first internal exam to check for dilation. I stood up and blood gushed down my legs onto the floor. I freaked out!! I didn't even so much as spot my entire pregnancy up until that point. My OB said it was normal but I was still really scared. I called the nurse line and they told me as long as the bleeding slowed down to nothing throughout the day it was completely normal because your cervix is so sensitive at this point.
