For those who had/have twins (shower question)

When do you think is a good time to have a baby shower?  5 mos?  Is that too soon?  My friend is going to deliver around 36 weeks.

I am not having twins, but I just had my shower this past weekend and i am 32 weeks a long. A part of me wishes i had it a little sooner but it just worked out this way. Washing all the clothes and organizing things after the shower has really been a chore in itself so now i am feeling rushed. I guess it's just the nesting instict in me. LOL 

I think 28 weeks is a perfect in between time to have a shower. Just my opinion of course.

I had my shower at 28wks, when you say 5 months do you mean 20wks or 24 wks? In my opinion I would wait till at least 24 wks which is viability, not saying anything will happen just would be better to do it then. I would dif do it before 30wks though. Maybe 26/28 would be good?

I think the 7 month mark is a good time.   I had my shower about two weeks before I delivered and it stressed me out. 

So 2 mos before the EDD? 

I totally agree with 28 wks for twins. They planned 2 of my showers for 32 wks & I ended up in the hospital @ 30 wks & delivering @ 31 wks. I had two showers after delivery : (  I always say hope for the best & plan for the worst !!!

I had my shower 9wks before my due date, and it was a good thing I did beacuse I had my girls 4wks after my shower.
