Bath time???
Sage is almost 3 weeks old. I know I do not need to bathe her everyday but she loves the water and it puts her right to sleep after . I am too nervous to keep her in the sink for too long because it's so slippery and I feel like I'm not in control. Is it too early to start taking baths with her? I was going to try it out tonight.
Just a side note I am not bleeding anymore, haven't for 4 days.
Thanks Karen

She's a cutie! It's hard to believe its been 3 weeks already. They grow up too fast. Sometimes I can't believe my little boy is almost 15 months old.
I think you would be fine to take a bath with her as long as your not bleeding. But word of caution in the tub with you she's gonna be very very slippery...I learned the hard way the first time with Matthew. I almost dropped him because I didn't expect him to be like a bar of soap. Once we had that issue I bought a bath sling from Babies R US that he sat in and kind of laid back in it. He loved it and I even bought a larger one that he was in until he was holding his head up well. Now he takes showers with me or dh and LOVES the water.

I bathe with Bella every night. Just her and I. Craig gets her out and dries her and gets her lotioned and dressed. A bath every night is okay. Would you wanna set in your pee all day and then lay in it al night NO THANKS!! As long as you lotion her, I do it twice a day. And YES she is VERY CUTE!!

As long as you're using baby soap and lotion to keep from drying her skin out, I'd think a bath every day is fine. I'd also recommend not doing it w/only you in the house. Have your husband there to help get her in and out - it'd be hard to stand up or sit down while holding her.
Since you will still want to use the sink sometimes - like when you don't have time yourself to take a bath - you might consider getting a little bit of that rubbery fabricy stuff that goes under rugs to keep her from slipping around. Just cut a square big enough to fit the sink. If you put that in there for her to sit on and help her not slide around, then you're just balancing her head to keep it out of the water, but her bottom would not be sliding all over. You can rinse it and hang it to dry or even through it in the washer then hang it to dry (don't stick it in the dryer...being rubbery, it'll get melted), as needed.
Isn't it funny how much fun they can have that early just playing in the water?
