I really like the name Drake. It would be part of family heritage but still all his own. I also liked the idea of doing something from your heritage, that way each child feels like his name is a part of something. It's funny how much we are excited to name our children before we have them- and then once your pregnant you realize that this is a really big decision.

I like the name Drake and don't think that kids would make any association with that.

I tend to like more traditional names though - our list was short - Matthew, Jacob, Lucas Hubby liked Wyatt, Mitchell and Cole.

Do you have your names narrowed down for a boy and a girl? I am sure you are not telling but I still thought I would ask :)

we do :) Amelia Ranee (Ranee is  my middle name) and Jacob Michael (Michael is my Dad's middle name)

Of course I need to see that chubby little face to decide 100% but those are our favorites

Love both of them! How exciting that you will soon be holding your baby!

We need names also! Seems like boy names are so hard... So far we have Keegan, Trenton (Trent for short), Nolan and Kyler.

Thomas will be his first name after my father in law.
