Should I log BH Contractions??

OK so since yesterday around lunchtime the BH contractions are getting more intense and more often - should I be logging them or paying attention to them? I am also getting some radiating pain across my lower / middle back that feels different (not my normal back issues). I see the OB tomorrow for my weekly appt but thought that I would ask here too. I realized last night that the OB never gave me instructions reagarding labor / when to go to the hospital / when to call the office etc so I am winging it until tomorrow!

Thanks ladies! I can't believe how close I am!

Personally I would considering how far along you are.  I always knew when the contractions were real contractions because the pain level was so much more intense, but not everyone is like that...some people are lucky and have more mild contractions that could be mistaken for BH.  If they are very regular I would definitely call your OB.

Good luck!

Frankly, if you can log them they probably aren't Braxton Hicks.

really? They don't hurt and there doesn't seem to be a pattern but they happen regularly over the course of the day.

Sorry, I am nieve - first go at this! lol :)

How regularly?  Like every 5 minutes or you get them a few times a day?

Well I was getting them every 10-15 minutes apart for about an hour earlier today then they slowed to about once every 30-40 minutes. They don't hurt but my belly gets super tight.

I wouldn't....if your in real labor you will definately KNOW it. The pain is intense and you will have stop walking/talking etc if your having a real contraction. Time then when they are so bad you cant talk - then you'll be progressing.

When it is time here is the best advice I recieved  was from Jennifer and she said count down from 30 and breathe - this is how my second natural delivery was so much smoother than the first. Dont hold your breathe and when its pushing time do it easy. I lied on my side for my most of my labor even when I knew I had to push, and I slowly pushed with the contractions which made baby come down easilly and reduces tearing - so push slow. Good Luck your close!

With my last, I was scheduled for a C-Section on 4/18 (1995...lol...ya, he's 15).  On 4/10 I started having what I thought were BH contractions...but they were 2-4 minutes apart for several hours.  So I went in to get checked...just in case.  They kept me there and delivered him that day (by c-section)!  I was in zero pain...just felt like BH.
