Funny but sad

So let me tell you my story...I started having milk coming out of my boobies and I am not pregnant, although we are trying very hard to get pregnant right now. I was freaking out about it  thinking maybe I am pregnant, so I called my doctor and he did a blood test and a lactation test to see what was going on...guess what ladies I wasnt pregnant and the nurse suggested that my husband might want to lay off the boobie touchin...LOL

Didn't know that could happen- it would freak me out too! Did they say if it was hormonal? Seems to me it should be more of a hormonal thing than a stimulation thing, as I don't leak without being pregnant or post partum. Hopefully it's a one time thing.

Please keep an eye on this.  If it continues you may want to check in with your doc again.  A good friend of mine started to leak breast milk and she ended up having a pituitary tumor that was the cause of it.  It is called a prolactinoma if you want to check it out.
I think it takes a LOT of nipple stimulation to start lactating in a non pregnant woman, but it does happen.

They checked my lactation hormone and it was normal. Whats crazy is that its still coming out. I think if it still continues after a while I will get it checked.
