so confused need help

 hi ladies DH and I are TTC so we just recently went off BC at the end of march.... im just confused on whats happening with my body and maybe someone can help!

got AF on april 21st have been using OPK's got a positive on may3rd have been tracking on FF and they say ovulation day was may 5th woke up this morning to AF if i just ovulated 3 days ago why am i bleeding? i looked up implantation bleeding and it says its more spotting then anything and i woke up to my shorts having blood and im still bleeding and cramping.... it hasnt turned bright red yet.. any thoughts

i would say that your body is still trying to regulate after coming off the bc.. sometimes it takes a few months.. good luck

 if my body is regulating itself would i still ovulate though? i think im so caught up on the fact that i got a positive on the OPK and now 3 DPO i'm bleeding... :(

you could... it just wont be at the right time.. next month will prob be more predictiable... hopefully...

Are you 100% sure that the OPK was positive.  Sometimes they are soooo close to being positive that you actually think they are but aren't.  I did that a few cycles when we tt****il I started temping.

I have to agree with the pp that it will normally take a few months for your cycles to regulate after coming off of birth control pills.

well the blood has since turned bright red and im cramping like a normal period... im just confused and sad :(

yes the opk was def positive.... i did a pee stick and i kept thinking it was positive so i have the digital kind that will give you the smiley face if its positive and i tried that - and it gave me the happy face... i just wish i understood why i was bleeding when im only 3dpo

 well just an update... i bleed for two days and towards the end of day 2 it was really only spotting and then it just vanished.... when i get my period its normally 4-5 days so who knows what that was... we'll see if i get another period or an actuallt period when im due for one...

any insight on this?
