Reality hits!

So today my SIL came over and helped vacuum the nursery. She also helped me put together the double stroller we had bought a while ago for the twins- hubby is soooo not mechanical and I usually have to deal with these things, but with all the contractions I figured some help would be nice. She had volunteered a while ago, and I finally thought I should let her help. So we got the whole thing put together and I looked over at it and reality hit! I can't believe I am going to have twins soon- and need that big of a stroller! It was crazy. This whole pregnancy has felt really long to me, and I've done tons of reading about twins and such, so I feel prepared, or as prepared as you can feel. We already have two cribs up and everything- I'm not sure why the stroller was what really struck me. Anyone else have a reality hitting moment they want to share?

i found out i was pregnant at 6 weeks, when i went back 2 weeks later i learned it was identical twins, from then on it was reality, i would have to prepare myself for 3 kids, so from going from 1 to 3 in 9 months was alot, lol

i have my boys sleeping in the same crib right now, they each sleep on a boppy, they do not like the sleep positioners anymore, in a week or 2 we will put up the 2nd crib, as for stroller what kind did u get?

right now i am using a double snap n go, its great for newborns i think, however i just bought this

a little pricey but great even for newborns, its truly the only stroller you will need, i have a single for my daughter and she has only had that one stroller

good luck and how far along are you?  boys or girls?

I am 34 weeks with twin boys. The stroller I have is a graco duoglider- I know it's heavy but we got it brand new for $30- still in the box! With me being in grad school still, we are on a really tight budget, so it will have to do, even though I have heard that it's not the best one. Ah well. It will get us through the first few years. We live in Utah so I won't need it every day unless we are taking walks or something- mostly just for trips shopping/etc. Things are really spread out here that you usually need to use a car to go anywhere. By the time she was three my daughter no longer wanted to sit in her stroller, she preferred to walk. Thanks for the input though.
