Gotta Brag about my kiddo
Rowan is 9 months old! Well a little more really, but his 9 month checkup was a bit late. He's in the 45th percentile for weight and the 75th for height (he weighs a little over 20 lbs and he's almost 30 inches tall). He is finally sprouting his first 2 teeth! So far, the process isn't really making him grumpy at all. For a couple of days before they appeared he was a bit restless at night, but that has been about all. He usually sleeps from 7:30pm to about 6:30am now and takes 2 naps of 1-2 hours each (the total nap time is usually around 3 hours).
He's army crawling, and starting to pull up (sometimes he makes it), but really what he wants is to walk - if we hold his hands hill walk around the house until he wears us out!
He has a lot of separation anxiety now though. He gets over it pretty quick when I drop him off at daycare, but sometimes even at home, with my husband playing with him, he gets upset when I leave the room. We gotta work on that.
I think he's starting to use "ma" and "da" appropriately, and he's waving hello and goodbye. His first word might end up being "kitty" though - he's saying "ki!" "Ki!" whever he sees our cats now!
