Old Habits Die Hard.... (obesity is hard to overcome) Ramblings & pics.
Cooper is such a cutie... I also have food issues that I push on Josiah. I am so fearful the will grow up eating like I did... eating junk and more junk so I am to the extreme about him eating healthy. A lot of poeple say I am obsessive about it and I know I am, I just don't know how to stop. I don't want to create issues with his eating... now I do give him 'fun' things to eat. I made homemade popsicles tonight, he has had chocolate covered strawberries the past few days... I will give him stuff like that just not all the time. I don't have an answer for you but wanted to let you know you aren't alone with your food issues.
Don't worry about Cooper not saying much... Josiah just turned 18 months and the doc said he should know about a dozen words (around 6 @ 1 year). Boys learn much slower then girls. I hate hearing that but I know it is true. I think at 1 he said Mama, Dada, Ball and a few others. He also knows sign language so I think that has a lot to do with his lack of words. He now babbles A LOT! I swear he is talking Chinese though. LOL
Oh... Josiah has been in the 90% - 95% since he was 3 months. The doc said he has been consistant and has no concern. He is now 33 lbs and 35 1/2"... he is going to be a big boy but I can tell you, he is solid.
Step back and relax and enjoy Cooper. I read in a book that parents tend to not enjoy the current moment with their kids because when they hit a milestone they are constantly looking for the next milestone. I am guilty of it...
BTW... you look great!
