I'm Macey and I'm 10 weeks:) worried about my health after rny and being pregnant, I've lost 11 lbs since finding out I am, and it doesn't seem to be improving.
Welcome and congrats Macey!
Your worries re the pregnancy after WLS is normal. As you read through here, youi'll see that there are quite a few post WLS mommies and mommies to be here...and the vast vast majority of them have perfectly normal, healthy pregnancies. The few that have problems usually have problems with vitamin levels, and that can be addressed by ensuring your dr checks your vits regularly and adjusting them as needed.
Read old posts and chime in with questions. This is a fantastic group of women who are happy to reach out and lend a helping hand to new mommies to be.
Oh, and don't worry about the weight loss...I assume you're having morning sickness. The weight will likely steady out as you progress. Just make sure you're eating your protein, some good carbs and drinking. If it's from not being able to eat enough, talk to your nutritionist and get her input on how to increase your food intake.
I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
