Hey preggos, mommies & mommy-wanna-be's. Sorry I'm late, again. Had to work today and then did some other stuff.

Here's the deal...I hadn't seen any baby name posts lately and those are my favorites. Soooooo, I decided to make up a new weekly game for this board. Every week (usually Sundays), I'll (or somebody else) pick a letter from the alphabet to make up names with. You can pick a first name alone or do first & middle name combo. This is just for fun and it does not have to be your baby's name or one you would use. Okay???

The letter for this week is " G ".

Gavin Allistair for a boy

   Gavin = white hawk
   Alastair = defender of mankind; form of Alexander

Gia Louisa or Gia Lucille for a girl

   Gia = God's gracious gift; form of Joan & Giovanna
   Louisa = famous warrior; form of Louise
   Lucille = Light bearer; light; bringer of light

The name Gage makes me think of a big fine quiet cowboy strutting around in cowboy boots, jeans, western shirt and a cowboy hat to go with it. Great name.

Girl ---Gabriella heroine of God and would call her Gaby for short

Boy ----Gabriel God is my strength/hero of God and call him Gabe for short

When my water broke we decided on these names while I was in labor for our son who would not make it. We named him Gabriel Lynn

I didnt have a book with me or anything but the name just came to me.
