what part of ny do u live now?  i have since my daughter was just born the maclaren techno xlr and she still uses it at 21 months

as for my twins im using a double snap n go with 2 graco snugride carseats but i just bought them a maclaren twin techno

i think if u r in ny the maclaren r the best for getting on buses and trains being it folds with one hand and umbrella style

and i think with this stroller you will not have to buy another as your baby grows

I live a walking distance from central park and mount sinai hospital. I was thinking about maybe getting a maclaren as they are smaller and lighter, gorgeous, cheaper and can be used for some time. There are just so many I didnt know how to narrow it down...that and I dont think they have one that allows baby to face parent. But I will surely give it a look now that its been recommended.

Thanks!

Well it didn't matter to me about my child facing me, in my opinion my kids see me all day, when we go out I want them to see the beauty of nyc and enjoy the sites but if its ur preference a friend of mine bought the bugaboo bee and its soooo light and folds like a dream and ur baby can face u I believe its pricey at over 500 but also keep in mind the weight capacity of the strollers a lot of this strollers don't hold a heavier child? Example I believe that stroller holds up to 34lbs, my daughter is 21 months old and weighs 33lbs, the maclaren holds up to 55lbs, just my 2 cents welcome to nyc

Agreed. We were thinking of taking her to walk around central park today since it is so absolutely gorgeous outside today. Im still weighing my options on strollers...in no rush since we have the snap and go now. And thanks for the welcome..but i am very used to nyc since i was born and raised here lol

I have the Bugaboo Cameleon and I just love it and it converts into a pram. I used to have a Graco and my son hated it so much and would cry every time I placed hm in it, but he loves the ULTRA SMOOTH ride of the Bugaboo. It's a bit pricey, but was the best baby gear investment I ever made. I'm saving it for my next little one that I hope god blesses us with this year :) . I'm hoping my next one would be a girl so I can GO PINK too :) . Good luck and have fun shopping for your new bundle of joy.

I got the UppaBaby Vista 2010 Special Edition Maya stroller - I really liked Quinny, Bugaboo and a few of the Peg Perego ones but this one won out for me!
