Is Beano safe during pregnancy?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if Beano is safe for me to take during pregnancy?

I have used it a couple times. Their website says that there's no indication that it's harmful, but like most companies, they will not make a statement that it's safe. I know other people that have used it too. I know that's not the perfect answer, but that's what I found out when I did the research. I know we can take Gas-X.

I know what you mean though about companies not wanting to say one way or the other if something is safe if it hasn't undergone scientific trials regarding use in pregnancy; and I totally understand, but it does sometimes leave me between a rock & a hard place when no one wants to advise me one way or the other!

I took some yesterday with dinner (a big bowl of chili) and I plan on taking more today (more leftover chili to eat).
