gastional diabetes

can somebody be hypoglyemic and have gastational diabetes? I am due for my blood testing for my 28 week testing and my sister just found out that she has GD, but i already have hypo and wasn't sure if I can be at risk for GD as well?

I'm sure it's highly possible, but not at the same time! LOL Like you can be hypoglycemic going into the pregnancy and then develop gestational diabetes during the pregnancy and then go back to being hypoglycemic after delivery. I think it would be extremely rare though for a hypoglycemic person to have gestational diabetes, but ya never know.
