A small whine and a question

with jayson i had no clue... yes i was in pain.. but like all pain i just ignore it and went on with my lift... when i started dropping huge clots into the toilet my EIGHTEEN year old brother was the one that begged me to go to the hosp after me telling him i was ok and this was normal.. anyway i got to the hospital and i was 10 cm and crowning... ok next.. jaylyn.. LOL.. i was contracting all day and like my usual self i ignored the pain.. i was at ikea with my baby sitter and jayson... and my baby sitter told me "you are the calmest person in labor i know" i told her to shut up that shes nuts im not in labor i will know... fast forward 6 hours... i was getting more and more uncomfy but didnt think it was "time" so again i ignored it... but decided to let my dog out so i didnt kill her and took a shower.. 5 mins into the shower i hated life and i hated water and i hated the smell of my shampoo and i hated that it wasnt helping with my back pain .. so i got out... the shower and me cursing at trixie woke up steven and i told him it was time.. wake up jayson and lets go... that was midnight... i was 5 cm when i got to the hosp but i was sure they were sending me home... steven made fun of me because it was time after i denied it for so long.. then at 644 she was born!...

well then OK - if it keeps up I am so calling! lol

i am by far not the norm.. the level of pain i can stand is huge... my epi didnt work.. and still i was super calm.. didnt complain.. just laid there and took deep breaths and counted.. only time i made a peep was when i asked for a diet coke

I am right there with you... when I over do it I get everything u just described... try taking it easy a day or so and u should feel better at least I hope...it worked for me... good luck, and we don't have much longer to go now...

The last month is the WORST! I hated it with both of mine but all I had was a mild stomach ache (which was contractions) oops that within two hours from the start for both they were born. My deliveries were so quick, I was going to type easy but the first was definitely worse than the second and my advice when its time to start pushing take it slow and Jennifer had given me the advice to count backwards from 30 when you have a contraction and that's actually what made #2 easier. #1 I pushed like I wasn't going to get another chance and that was ohhhhhhhhhh so painful! Just take it easy, I bet you wont be early but like I said the last month is really terrible and it only gets worse. I once peed and then walked out of the bathroom just to turn and go again, it was like when I started walking it shifted the baby which made more pee available...LOL
