OT: SAHM in my future?!!
Congrats to you! I hope it works out for you! I too am envious of the one year maternity leave!!!
I am in the thinking stages about being a SAHM or working. I will take 12 weeks after my son is born and am now trying to make the big decision about whether to return to work or not. I just don't know. My husband said it is my decision. I already looked at the budget of one income. It is hard when you have had two incomes for 10 years and lived the "easy life". So, it does scare me some but that is because I am a worry wart about money. I handle all the bills, investments, and accounts in our household. So, I guess it is natural for me to worry :)
The way I look at it, any time someone can take off is a blessing. If it comes to the point that you see that you can't make it one the one income, there is always the option to go back to work to bring in money!
