OT: SAHM in my future?!!

 After a lot of calculations and manipulating our finances we have finally been able to find a way for me to stay at home for the next 3+ years with Alex!  Even though I'm super excited, I always have that feeling of dread until the final paperwork is complete, which should be by next Friday!  

Please keep your fingers crossed that our sacrifices come through without any hiccups and everything works out for us!  

My mat leave doesn't end until August 1st, so I still get maternity pay until then.  I won't have to give my employer notice until 4 weeks before my anticipated return date so I'm still receiving benefits until then too!  

I'm keeping it off FB until I know for sure!

It really is a great thing to do if you're able to do it and that's what you want.  They grow up so quickly.  It does mean giving up some things but that's all they are 'things' that you really don't need.

 There is rumor of it being moved to 2 years.. lol 

That is fantatstic, I work fulltime but hubby and I work around eachother so our daughter doesnt go to daycare. Thats going to be wonderful for you! I am jealous of Cananda's one yr mat leave to oh my gosh that would be heaven....so may I ask how you did it? Any tips :)
