Amniotic Band

I thought my water broke today, as I had a gush of fluid with blood and clots. It was fluid, but my membranes are intact, however on the ultrasound they discovered an amniotic band. They had no answers for me, said to discuss it with the high risk dr. So I have to wait untill tommorrow for any answers. Everything on the internet is horrifying and im not going to read anymore tonight. The good thing is that it dosent look like its attached to the baby at this point. Im scared.

You have had such a tough pregnancy! I am so sorry you have to go through all of this. I hope you get some answers and that all is well. I don't know anything about an amniotic band, but it seems scary. Take care.

Oh, I am sorry you have to go through this! Doesn't the internet make it worse sometimes? And its like an obsession, you can't stop searching and reading... good for you to walk away, and good luck tomorrow.

I know nothing about this, but I hope everything turns out ok.

Walking away from the internet is a good idea.  I did look to see what it was and the degrees vary so greatly, there's  no way to know what - if anything - is going on with your baby.  I  hope you get good news tomorrow and find out that it's not affecting your little one.  I also hope that things get easier for you for these last few months...you've had a tremendous amount of stress lately...and it can't be good for your or the baby.
