Ovulation cramps...

Good morning! I just want to ask a general question... I am watching my ovulation since trying to get pregnant.  This month I have had cramps for 4 days... I didn't think any of it since last month I did feel them strong too but ovulation test came out positive when I was experiencing this pain.  Monday I went to my ob/gyn for annual checkup and told her hubby and I trying to get pregnant.  As always after the pap smear test felt light cramp which usually goes away soon but I have been with an eternal cramp all the time these past days.  However, the ovulation tests for the past 4 days (since I've had cramps) have been negative.

This is all new to me since I have never been pregnant and much less this regular with my period before surgery.  After surgery my periods have been regular.  It has been almost 16 months since surgery for me.

Has anyone experience ovulation cramps for several days and no positive ovulation test?

Just wondering.... thank you.

Sorry you are cramped up for multiple days :(
When I feel ovulation cramps or pain, I usually feel it for the better part of one day and it is very localized on either my right or left side.
Sorry I have never had it go on for more than a day to a day and a half.
And I always get a positive OPK result when I am cramping I use Clear Blue Easy Digitals
Good Luck to you!

Hi!  I've been doing the 20-day OPK and according to the results I've gotten, I should be ovulating like today or tomorrow.  I haven't had any cramping, but I have felt kind of bloated.  I have a lap-band... and my band has felt tighter than usual for a couple of days.

Last month, I didn't do an OPK, but I had the same feeling.  Tightness, bloating, and I had a cramp on my left side that felt like the same kind I get when I'm constipated.  As it turned out, after I went to the bathroom, the "cramp" went away.

I always get ovulation pain, and it can last for a few days too- Sometimes it is on both sides, sometimes just on one. It's good that you can feel it- I always felt things going on so I knew things were happening down there, which is good for TTC. It is possible to ultimately not release an egg though, even if the ovaries are preparing to. Are you temping too? That can help because your temp would not shift if you did not ovulate. If that continues, try clomid. I have used clomid for both of my pregnancies and it has worked. Good luck!
