Any suggestions for the last month?!

WOW - where has time gone?! I am due in just about a month, I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone! I feel pretty good, I am exhausted in the afternoon and evenings but keep on trudging through. SOOOOOO excited to meet the little one and find out boy or girl. Still having strong girl feelings. Baby moves a lot and almost always reacts to the beeping of my cell phone when I am texting and music.

Anyone have any tips, suggestions, reccomendations of things that I should be doing or preparing for in these last few weeks? I have our bags started and will finish packing them this weekend so they are ready when we are. Car seats are going in mine and hubby's car this weekend too. Next weekend I am going to work on getting some easy dinners in the freezer so they are ready to go.

Thanks for all your support first through the miscarriage earlier this year and now through the pregnancy!

my advice is to acquire a double dose of patience, you will need it in about 3 weeks!! LOL!  No seriously though, I guess it's just relax but get the things done you still need to while you can.  It's so funny when you are still grocery shopping a week before your due date, then people ask when you are due and they say "OMG should you even be out of your house right now?"

O yea and if you haven't start your baby book, it's a good time filler towards the end!!

I cannot believe you're almost done too!  I remember like a year ago we were both TTC and going crazy with temping and OPK's together lol!

Thanks! I know - it has been quite the year!!

My Mom has my baby book, she is going to give it to me this weekend so I can get started on it.

I hope that your little girl makes her appearance soon! I check all the time to see if there is any news! lol

Good luck and Thanks!

I have no suggestions since you're already ahead of me and I have 6 days left...lol.

I would say that right now I'm savoring every little movement and moment I have with my little girl because I know I'm going to be one of those women *****ally miss being pregnant.  I love that only she and I know what's going on a lot of the time.  Like this morning, it took the doc a couple minutes to find her heartbeat and afterward my hubby said that made him nervous but I wasn't nervous because I had been feeling her move around in there all morning...I knew she was fine.

As far as the practical side of being ready and packing bags and installing car seats, you already know what you need to do and it sounds like you're ahead of the curve.  Just enjoy the rest of the experience...unless you're miserable, then just pray for it to be over!

I would say "walk, walk, walk" cause that can keep things moving along. Get gravity to work for you! Also. "Sleep, sleep, sleep" since it becomes such a precious commodity after wards! Don't forget music for the hospital. My 3 year old was born to 80's music!

I would say bring a comfy pillow and a nice heavy blanket for the hospital. I was freezing the entire time. I had like 4 warm blankets on me at one point. I couldn't stop shivering! I would also bring some XL underwear. The crappy mesh ones they give you kind of suck! lol! I also used my Boppy pillow a lot in the hospital. I cannot wait to see your baby!

relax... take time for your self to be pampered... get your hair/feet/nails done... go on a date with hubby... and treasure the last time you have your baby all to your self.... soon complete chaos will occur :)

RELAX!  Don't wish your pregnancy away.  It's a true gift from God and something that should be treasured.
It gets hard in the end because your so uncomfortable and have been waiting sooo long but you'll never get this last month back.
Enjoy! Pamper yourself and treasure every movement and alone time you have with your baby. :)
Congrats!

Thanks ladies! I have enjoyed being pregnant overall and will miss being the only one who can take care of the baby and feel things like the barrel rolls in the middle of the night.

I have learned to put myself first in a lot of situations, me and baby that is. I like the pampering idea- I think that a hair do and a massage are in order.

Thanks again everyone! :)

Um, REST! DOn't get all loca and start overdoing it! :-)
Seriously, I wish in the last month I had gotten more prenatal massages, and I wish I would have gone out to dinner and walked more with my husband. TIme together is so precious now ... really enjoy each other in the next month!
I agree, the time has flown!
