Induction on Monday Nite if she doesn't come this week

So...I know so many of you don't want the induction, but I do because this baby is HUGE!  And we will be going into our 40th week if she doesn't come before then so I feel she'll be fine.

The reason they are doing it next week for now(could be medical if she has grown alot in the past 6 wks) is because Chris(the hubbie) just found out that he could just leave for the labor, but he HAS to pick a week to take his vacation, and he can't pick it if he doesn't know when she'll be born.  So the doc has allowed me to decide right now.

HE did give me all the straight shootin' facts about induction, including the higher rate of c-sections for non-progression(and he has a low rate of c-sections in his practice).  But he is fine with going ahead with it if we are.  WE are fully term and she has measured ahead by over 2 wks the entire pregnancy so he is sure she's fine.  And she has hiccups at least 3 times a day so we know she is practicing her breathing.

Soooooo...the end is in sight......am now able to breathe!  AND...the baby must have dropped because I CAN EAT AGAIN AND I CAN BREATHE!

Hallelujah!

So they must be doing the 2 day induction if you're starting at night?  They'll start ripening your cervix Monday night and start the Pitocin Tuesday?

I'm thinking we might not be able to be each other's angels after all.  I'm starting my 2 day induction Sunday night and will be having the baby Monday which means you might already be in the hospital by the time mine is born and I'll still be in the hospital when yours is born!

I know, Sara.  I thought about that today!  I was like...well dang!  My contractions are started to feel stronger though...so she might just make it this week....a woman can hope.  I just walked out of Walmart and stopped dead in traffic, looked at the man and said....that is different, they have changed....that hurt like a mother$#@#!.

Shoot...I want to!  The husband & I still cannot decide.  He wants Sprint and I want Verizon!  And neither of us wants At&t.  Oh well.  The funniest part?  I just got a new netbook with AT&T so I can do my schoolwork while I'm in the hospital having her.  CAn you say dedication?  LOL.  I think we may have to go AT&T...it might be just the compromise.  Tell ya what...just send me an email(you got that didn't you?)...even if I'm being induced when you have yours, this netbook will be in use.  Gotta do something to distract myself.  I love this baby computer...its so darn addictive!!!

I want pics of baby sarah...bet she's gonna be adorable!!

I'm gonna have my laptop in the hospital too.  We're leaving the netbook at home because it's just so much slower than the "real" laptop and we want to be able to Skype with my parents.  We'll keep in touch. :)
