My cankles are back
I've only been up for 3 1/2 hours and already my ankles are swelling. I had to share a picture. This is the morning, just think how huge my ankles are going to be by this evening! I was hoping I'd miss out on the cankles this time around since I'm much lighter than my previous pregnancy, but apparently not. It's geting warmer out and I have to wear long pants to cover the ankles up. Sorry, just a vent.
I can completely sympathize with you!!! My calves, ankles, and feet were huge for the last month or two of my pregnancy. I even got stretch marks from it! They hurt so bad and itched like crazy!! Nothing helped either. I would say that the swelling was one of the biggest things that really bothered me during my pregnancy! Hope it gets better for you!

I have swelling bad. Plus, when it is hot and humid here in Texas, it only gets worse. My doctor just told me to wear support hose. I am telling you, they made a world of difference and made my feet and legs feel wonderful. I can't wear them everyday based on what I am wearing. But, it really does help!

I have support hose but I hate them! They dig into the top of my calf and hurt. I've actually been fitted for them before too and it still doesn't fit right. It hurts so bad I can't stand it and have to take them off after about 20 minutes. I notice though if I wear lace up shoes and sinch them tight at the beginning of the day, keeping them on all day, my feet do better. Kinda the same idea as the hose.
Ugh - I am right there with you! I'll have to take a photo later when I get home. I usually have long skinny feet and tiny ankles - I always looked like an ice cream cone when I was at my heaviest. Now they are just straight on down. Fun Fun Fun! Thank Goodness it is going to be cooler here the next week.
