Hostess gifts for baby shower?

Has anyone ever heard of giving gifts to the person or people that gave your your baby shower? Well I have and I cant think of anything to get. They say like candy and wine etc. My sister and mom gave me mine. Any ideas of gifts would be really great.

My mom did my shower at home. I took her out for lunch while she was in town.

The hostess gift that I've most appreciated receiving was a gift certificate for a pedicure.  It was a nice treat for me after worrying about getting my house, food, etc ready for the shower and taking care of all of the guests, and it wasn't a thing I had to find a place for in my house.

i was actually wondering same thing ...only thing is my whole inlaw fam is throwing the shower sooo its really hard to give a gift to all of them... so thanks would be ok?! lol my DH is the one that actually organized it all believe it or not he thinks its his shower lol ok i dont care i thought it was lovely !

Try Things Remembered. Since it's family doing this for you, it might be nice to have something engraved for "Grandma" and "Aunt ABC."

This is the first I've heard that your supposed to do it...huh...interesting.
