Another Pregnancy Test

Has anyone ever had to take another pregnancy test.  I took a blood test just to determine if I was pregnant at my doctors office and that turned out positive.  Then I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative.  Called my doctors office and took another pregnancy test  to determine my HCG count and waiting for the results today.  The nurse mention that the HCG count for the some of the home pregancy test may be higher than the blood test. Did anyone else have to go through this or any info they can give?  Thanks

If I remember correctly I believe it can be detected in your blood before urine.

LMAO I was never got a BFP on an HPT the first time. I think I was about 7 weeks this time when I got one at home. I have to go on blood tests to find out.

Blood Test showed up when I was pregnant last time and it took 3 months for the urine to show up.

Well got the results from the HCG count and it was less than 5.  :-( Doctor did an vaginal ultra sound and did not find a pregnancy, however, they could not find tell me why I still don't have a period in eight weeks.  I did not realize how much I wanted to have the baby until I realized that it was not one.  Oh well, I guess this is another lesson learned at least I know all about HCG count.  Good luck to the rest of you ladies who are expecting. 

Some women never test positive for a HPT. I wouldn't worry, as long as your blood results are positive and hCG is rising you should be fine.
