I itch like crazy on my chest and a little on my face. I fight like crazy not to actually scratch because I don't want to be all red, but it's awful!! This has been going on since the beginning of the pregnancy.

Anyone else? Know what I can do about it?

Thanks.

Hi there!
Okay, now, before I share what I have to share, let me preface by saying that you should not take an herbal supplament or any medication without checking with your OB. In no way do I reccomend or suggest doing so without checking. Phew ... Okay ...
Often, facial, chest, and itching on the hands and feet can indicate that your liver and kidneys are having a hard time cleaning your system out and supporting your body. I had a doula and midwife team, and when I experienced the itching (which was not skin related in that it was caused by stretching ... mine was an unbearable itch ... internal, almost, and it was constant for weeks before I took something) and they put me on additional supplaments to include a dandeline tincture (liquid dandelion essence) and other herbal supplaments that help support the liver and kidneys. Also, increasing your fluid intake can help support your liver and kidneys.
This is just my two cents, and again, don't take anything without contacting your OB.
I hope you have some relief soon!

Skin changes are a part of pregnancy. I would say increase your fluid intake. Also, make sure you are moisturizing your skin well! I have horrible dry skin since I found out I was pregnancy.

A rash called Pruritic Urticarial Papules & Plaques of Pregnancy (PUPPP) is very common during pregnancy. I had it on my feet and belly during my last trimester with my 1st pregnancy. This time, I've had it on my arms since 5 wks. You can take Benadryl by mouth or use Benadryl creams. I opt for the Benadryl cream/spray because the pills make me sleepy. Hope this helps : )

I have that! On my arm only... hasn't spread yet thank goodness. I went to GNC yesterday and bought a bar of Grandpas Tar Soap and that seemed to help relieve it a little. It's misrable and looks so bad. I don't have it on my belly or legs... yet. Just on my right arm which seems a little strange but it is no fun!

I was itchy from day one. I was prone to itchiness before and I've read the extra hormones can make it worse. My arms, legs, belly, head all would itch. Most of the time I could wait it out until it calmed down. Days when it wouldn't calm down my OB approved me taking benadryl and it did help.

Oooooh girl! Me 2!!!! I have PUPPP. The rash is on my right arm only right now and i am hoping it won't spread. I am 29 weeks and started itching last week. I went to GNC and bought Pine Tar soap and that seems to help a little.

Good luck... i know, it's misrable.
