Finally able to measure heart rate!!

I finally found the little heart beat and was able to time it (twice).

I came up with somewhere between 170 - 180 per minute. Is that normal? It seems pretty fast.

Jeez, I'm just happy I found it. Now I can relax a little. Until I think of something else to worry about - oh wait - I just did..... LOL.....UGH!

Yep!  That seems totally normal! When I was pg a year ago at about 10 1/2 weeks at an U.S.  My O.B. nurse guessed then that it was a boy based on the hb and she was right! 

It doesn't slow down till it gets bigger, remember it is really tiny yet....

It starts out high. Then it stays around 140-165 in 2nd trimester. Then, in 3rd trimester it is more reflective of the actual heartrate where people say boy lower and girl higher.

That sounds normal to me for where you are at in your pregnancy!

Ay my one u/s (not sure which one cause I have had many) the heart rate was 169.
