Officially joining you ladies!

Found out yesterday that I will be joining the club with baby #2 on the way, EDD 12/20- Santa will hopefully be really good to me this year!  We have been TTC since last June and I am convinced that the reason I got PG this time is because of the Pre-Seed stuff!  Seriously, we have been timing it perfectly for the last 6 months and nothing... buy Pre-Seed and that month is the winner!  I'm not 100% sure that it was that (obviously) but I am a believer now...  I will be 4 years out from my gastric bypass in July.  I really have no food issues to speak of and I have really been maintaining my 120 pound loss, though the last year 20 pounds have found their way back to my hips... carbs are evil and I should have never started eating them.  Oh well, I know what I need to do to get the pounds off once this little bean is born.  I go to see my OB closer to 8 weeks, he doesn't see you until then and they'll do an ultrasound to check things out.  I spoke with my surgeon today and he wants me to continue with my bariatric vitamins (I have the bariatric advantage that I love, multi, b12, iron and calcium) and add a folic acid to it since he said that the prenatals don't really do much for us bypassers with absorption issues.  He sent me a lab slip and I'll be going in the next few days, he wants to follow me with monthly labs to make sure that my levels are OK and we can adjust as needed.  Other than that, I'm just hanging out until my 1st appt in May.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I did want to mention be careful with the Bariatric vitamins during pregnancy as they have lot of Vit. A and that can be harmful to baby in high doses. Hoping for a healthy and happy 9 months!
