Induction tomorrow

Hi ladies,

Sorry I haven't checked in for a while. I just wanted to let all of you know that I'm scheduled for induction tomorrow due to BP issues. Fortunately, it's looking like a good option because I was 80% effaced, 1 cm dilated, cervix midpoint and very soft yesterday. My doctor thinks it best that we go ahead and induce especially since my cervix is so favorable and so that I don't develop full blow pre-eclampsia. I have high hopes of avoiding mag sulfate this go around. I'm also kind of glad they're inducing now because I'm worried about this baby's size. He measured 7 lbs 11 ozs at 36 weeks *gulp*. That's the size that my oldest son was at 38 weeks!!! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I'm a bit nervous since I've never been induced.

good luck momma!  they told my friend who just had a baby her son was 10lbs.  He was 6lbs 4oz when he was born LOL.  You will do great!

I lost my mucus plug this morning. Hopefully, that means that things will definitely be favorable for induction and I won't wind up with a C-section. I'll post as soon as I'm able. Thanks again for the support!
