Surprise surprise... a whine post lol.

I haven't seen my doc in two weeks (he was on spring break last week) but I go tomorrow. I'm not certain just how big baby girl is, if I'm dialated at all, etc. since I haven't seen him in a while. BUT I'm certain that she is HUGE because I'm absolutely MISERABLE and I've been piling on weight like crazy (I haven't weighed since my last appt but I swear I feel 10lbs fatter). I can feel how big she is by feeling my belly... I know where her head, back, butt, arms, and legs are so I have a pretty good idea of how big she is without having the doc measure, and she's huge I swear.

Last night, as I sat up in bed from 2:15 to well after 4:00am (after I sent DH to the guest room) I cried and prayed to God for the baby to just come already. I'm freakin MISERABLE. I don't sleep at all, but I'm so freakin tired that my eyes are burning. I'm afraid to take a sleep aid (which my doc approved) because I'm scared that I'll go in labor and be all groggy and stuff... or I'll start having contractions/water break and I'll be too dead asleep to wake up from it.

I've had a HORRIBLE backache for a few days now. Way worse than the usual aches and pains associated with pregnancy. I'm pretty sure the baby isn't facing the right way. I've been doing pelvic tilts and stretches to get her positioned right but she isn't cooperating (or that isn't the problem at all and I'm wasting my time with the tilts and stretches). Hot baths help a little but only for an hour or so.

I switched my perineal massage oil to evening primrose oil. Turns out the same hormone that causes contractions (which is promoted by this kind of oil) also causes you to need to use the bathroom. I had the worst stomach ache for two days. Needless to say, no more evening primrose oil for me.

I don't want to be induced just for the hell of it, but God I just wish she would COME ALREADY!! I've been walking, nipple stimulation, and having sex very regularly. I ate spicy food, tried the oil (which I won't do again), hell I even did some jumping jacks. I've done just about everything that won't make me sick and it isn't working. I know that just means that my body isn't ready and those things will only work if my body is ready, but can it PLEASE just be READY ALREADY?!? PLEASE?!

I feel ya girl!  I am at the end.  I am tired, contracting but not enough to move cervix past one yet.  I have two big balls of baby that hurt when they get tight.  I have been to the dr. a million times, and been sent to L&D for monitoring several times, but still no change in the induction date of next week.  I have done the same things, walks, spicy food, sex, you name it.  But reality is those just make it worse!  I go for my final u/s tomorrow and final dr. appt on Thursday before they induce.  I hope your baby comes sooner than later!  Stacey

Greek Salad. We  have this greek place here that is rumored to put pregnant women in labor when they eat this greek salad. Not sure what's in it but it seems tro work. It even made our local news. LOL

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes. I am out of control and at times hard to handle, but if you can't handle me at my worst...then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.     ---Marilyn Monroe

Maybe your back pain is back labor, and when you finally see your doc you will be 3cm and he'll be ready to just break your water and out that baby will come... lol. Wishful thinking, but hey, it never hurts to dream :) I know your miserable, and it always feels so much better after you whine! Good luck, hugs!

Super proud mommy to Dylan, Owen and Sophia Brianne!

I totally almost cooked eggplant parmesan for dinner the other night but no one else would agree to eat it and I wasn't sure how to make it so that it tasted good so I passed.

I go to the doc today. If there's nothing going on down there, I'm seriously swinging by provinos on my way home. Mmmmmmmmm garlic rolls..... **drools**. I'm glad there isn't a provinos right down the road from my house. I'd weigh at least 10lbs more by now. Damn those garlic rolls.

I don't know how this would affect our altered tummies...but my Mama swears by castor oil!  Try taking a swig of that!

I know a lot of people who've done that as well... but the thing is, it can have some pretty bad side effects on both mom and baby. It will, without a doubt, give mom the worst stomach ache ever. It's also suspected that it increases the risk of baby swallowing meconium. Of all the natural induction methods out there, this is the one that's highly advised against the most. Even midwives and doulas only recommend it as a last resort if the less invasive techniques don't work. Too bad it's the most effective :-(
