OMG the hormones ..
We wen to my 4 year olds first soccer game today, and I thought she was having a great time. She was running all over and looked like she was loving it. I went out on the field to get her after the game, and she just started CRYING, and said I can not even do it mom. I didn't make a goal, and I couldn't get the ball, and the entire time she is crying like crazy. SOOO, guess who else was crying like crazy too. Then I was trying to calm her down, and I am crying the entire time..MY GOODNESS. I think my hubby thought I was crazy..LOL
aww! I'm sure her soccer playing will only get better - the first time is always the hardest, specially if the other kids have played the year before and she hasn't.. The important thing is that she had fun running and chasing the ball.. the goals will come and she'll get to kick that ball.. and when she finally does, she'll feel on top of the world! Big hugs to you for getting all emotional for your daughter.. just shows that you care and don't want her to get discouraged.. isn't it funny the things that "set us off" in terms of the outpour of emotion?!
