Question
However, could it be possible to be pregnant and not know it?
The reason I ask this is because lately I have actually felt real hunger (which I haven't felt in more than a year). Also, I have been extremely moody and at times certain smells bother the heck out of me..also a couple of am's I almost felt I guess nauseous. I did have my last period within the last week. could you have a period and be pregnant at the very beginning? (don't know if this makes sense)
Another question...what treatments are out there for those of us that might have difficulty getting pregnant? I am 15 months out since my surgery.... I need to lose more but physically don't want to wait anymore to try to get pregnant since I am very happily married and 41 years old. Before surgery, I had PCOS.
(I do have my ob/gyn appt in a week - for my regular annual checkup)
Have you done any pregnancy tests? Do you usually track your period or chart ovulation? Before I even did a pregnancy test, I kind of knew something was up because I had very tender breasts. No other symptoms. Period wasn't late (it never came, in the end..) and there was no real change in mood.. that said, we're all different! As for having a period and being pregnant, it is apparently possible - my hubby works with a guy whose wife had a light period throughout her whole pregnancy yet gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby.
As for fertility treatments, I know of ladies who got pregnant taking Metformin, Clomid and other drug therapies as well as through IVF... you should discuss the options with your gyno when you see him/her for your annual check-up!
Good luck!
