Silly belly ?

First of all hello ladies! 

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and beginning to spring.

I have a silly question  (at least everyone else thinks it's silly). I am currently 16 weeks pregnant. I am technically still down 2 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight, however I am up 5 from where I was. I was wondering when if at all your belly started to round out. Mine is getting more round, however I still have that little skin flap/apron on the bottom from my excess skin. It's really not that bad- but I find myself wanting a cute round belly. There isn't anything I can do about the pre existing stretch marks but I was hoping that the little hanging section would move up and round out. I know I have a lot more to worry about right now- but I guess this stuff still bothers me. Thanks for any input!

well I am 34 weeks and my belly is still shaped more like a "B" then a "D". The secret belly panel bottoms or something with a full belly panel (instead of the1/2 or under belly) give me a nice round bump though.

I'm due in 12 days and I still don't have a perfectly rounded belly, there is a little break in it.

Took me a long time to really "show".  And even now I think it just looks like I'm kinda fat and not like a lot of the "cute" bellies I see.

i feel ya.. i am pretty good into this with a very round belly but that darn skin flap is still there (thouh not as flappy) i thought baby would fill up that yucky pouch of mine but apparently he (and the baby belly) is up higher....

I think it will depend on how much exces skin you have. I only had a little so my belly has finally pretty much filled it up at 24 weeks. Also, little Rory is hanging out pretty lowin my belly, so that could have something to do with it.

With my last pregnancy, I never did have a cute round belly.  I only ever looked fatter.  And there was an upper bump and a lower bump with a line in the middle.  It was sad, but true.  I used to joke with my husband that I just needed to spackle the crack in the middle so it all looked the same. I'm sure that it will be the same with this pregnancy as well.  I wish I would have a cute bump, but I just don't think it will happen.  When I'm not pregnant, I kind of have an upper roll of flab and a lower roll of flab, so I'm sure that explains it.
