worried pregnant

Just need to vent a little.  I am alomost 18 months after vertical sleeve.  Have done good the whole time.  I lost 145 lbs.  Years before surgery I had my tubes tied and the doc told me they were blocked at 97%.  Well after the weight loss he said it increases my chances of getting pregnant.  Well I found out yesterday I am 6 weeks.  I freaking because I worked so hard to get where I am, now I'm gonna gain weight back.  How did you all handle this?

Good Luck to you Marci. I am only 6 1/2 months post op and just found out last night that I am pregnant. I too am freaking out right now. I'm scared because I was told by my doctor to wait until 12-18 months post op even though I am only 17 pounds from my goal. I have a son who will be 4 next month but this is just as unexpected as the first time. Good luck to you! I guess there is no turning back now! I was just saying to someone that asked me if I will have another baby or not that I didn't know that I wanted to gain weight again even for a baby, well I guess I better get ready!

There are several women on the board who have gained very little, if any, weight with their pregnancy. I can relate to your fears about weight re-gain but you're still in control of that aspect of pregnancy. It can be a minimum, healthy amount or the "to hell with it I am eating for 2 now" maximum ~> your choice!

 Honestly, I panicked at every pound I gained.  It's inevitable though.  I finally just stopped weighing myself and basically said that as long as I was still eating properly the weight would come back off.  And it has!  I gained 35lbs with Alex.  I'm all but 3 lbs away from my pre-preg weight now.  It may not come off immediately... it takes 40 weeks to put it on.. give it at least that to get it completely off :)

WELL MISS LADY I AM 6 MONTHS OUT AND HAVE LOST 105LBS AND JUST FOUND OUT THAT I AM PREGNANT MYSELF AND I WAS WORRIED ABOUT STILL LOSING WEIGHT WHILE I AM PREGNANT!
