What's a good forum for mommies and ???'s
I have been on Kellymom, I am looking for other forums.
The last couple of days/nights Bella has been CRAZY she was doing soooo good napping and sleeping at night. Night sleeping was 5-6 hours at 8 pm, nurse, go back to bed sleep for 3-4, nurse, sleep for another 2-3, then up for the day. Then about 11am-12pm she nurses then use to nap for 2-4 hours just depends. Well for the last several days/nights she wants to nurse all the time and doesn't want to nap at ALL!! I think it's a growth spurt. But from not napping during the day she's sleeping awful at night!! Like up every 1-2 hours. I am getting NO SLEEP!! I have tried nursing her to sleep, let her cry for a little bit of time, and sitting there holding her hand to sleep. NOTHING IS WORKING!!! Any help? Did anyone else go thru this?

Annie has her days where she doesn't want to nap. Lately she doesn't take as many naps but rather one big nap in the middle of the day. She also had a couple weeks where she didn't go down when we put her to bed. I would feed her to sleep and sneak her into her crib and she would wake right up screaming. She would do that over and over and wouldn't stay sleeping until like the 4th time we put her down. Thankfully she has stopped that but that's really as bad as it's gotten. I hope Bella comes around for you!!

I lurk on babycenter.com boards all the time. I have been reading the breastfeeding board for weeks now to try and help prepare myself. It is very active and very informative. Here is the link....

Also I don't know if I missed your response but do you know what you think you are going to do about the IBS/breastfeeding issues you were having. I hope that you found the right decision for you and Bella. I also hope you are feeling better!! Best of luck to you!

Thanks! I have started probiotics from GNC and they seem to be helping. I have also started a strict diet. No caffeine, choc, min. diary, no red meats, and more and more!! haha! It really seems to be working. Still have my moments but I am still EBF. I love that bond with Bella and hope to keep it going until she's 12-18 months. IBS SUCKS but I am trying to work thru it for her!! Thank you for asking!!

I think it all depends on what kind of advice you are really looking for, if you are looking for gentle parenting ideas then you can check out diaperswappers.com (its a cloth diaper parenting site, but there are many forums about parenting that are wonderful and have nothing to do with CD's).
If you are looking for all ideas or advice, including CIO, then you can check out the babywise forums, or the What to Expect forums and Mothering.com also.

Courtney thanks for the forums I dunno what I want to be honest. SLEEP! HAHA! Gentle parenting is more me I can't stand it when when she is screaming and crying. I really think she isn't napping during the day and so she's not sleeping well at night b/c of that. I dunno if she's teething like people have said so we will see! Thanks again

I co-slept until my DD was 7 months old and was sleeping at night. Call me lazy, but it worked well for both of us.
It sounds like she's going through a growth spurt to me.
As for forums, check out cafemom.com ..... just be warned that there are certain groups filled with insane amounts of childishness.
