I swear, since yesterday, I feel completely different. My boobs are still tender, but not as much. I don't feel so "full" all the time in my belly. I'm not exhausted tired like I was. I'm really afraid maybe the baby died in there. How soon would I know? Shouldn't there be some "signs" if I miscarried?

My first appt was March 26 and doc said all as good, heartbeating good. My next appt is Apr. 26. I'm not going to go to the doctor until then. It's 1 1/2 hrs away and no one at work knows anything yet. It's too hard to get away without raising questions or lying. If I lost the baby, I guess there's nothing that can be done anyway. I'm just really worried right now.

Thanks for listening.

I had that same feeling last week for a few days, and then bam today is my worst day yet with exhaustion, nausea, and sore boobs.  I was worried also.  I can't wait until Peanut moves so I can know everything is doing good.  Hope all is ok.

That's a really hard thing to go through. I had 2 m/c's before I conceived this time. All during the first trimester this time, my symptoms would come and go and it would freak me out because of my 2 previous losses. But little miss Rory is doing great, so I think it's normal for them to come and go. I hope all is well with your little one.

You really need to rent you a fetal heart doppler. Then you can check the baby everyday and make sure you hear the heartbeat and know that your little one is fine. You can rent them for 20 bucks online. I got mine at www.babysheart.com. You can hear the heartbeat anywhere from 8-10 weeks. It will give you a LOT of reassurance because this much worry is NOT good for you or the baby. Just because you aren't feeling anything doesn't mean anything is wrong. Relax. If you start bleeding or something, then I'd be concerned but it sounds like everything is just fine!

Sounds awesome! Is this something you just put on your belly to hear from the outside? Is it hard to find the heartbeat this early?

Thanks so much!!

Yeah it's just like the doppler's that they use at the Dr's office (sometimes even more sensitive, depending on what you're doctor has). I started hearing our baby's heartbeat right when I received it. I THINK I was about 12 weeks (I'd have to go back and look to be sure, but I think that's right). But if you're a normal weight and don't have a lot of extra (I have a LOT of extra...LOL Skin that is...lol) it may be a little harder, but if you put it WAY down by your pubic bone and angle it down towards your uterus, then you should start getting it around 10 weeks. Don't freak out if you don't. I had a hard time finding it at first, but after I found it, I knew where to look and how to angle it for future reference. Make sure you are hearing a heartbeat that is over 120 beats a minutes. Any less than that and it's possibly your heartbeat you'd be hearing. And it sounds like a gentle rhythmic swooshing sound. Gosh, once you can check  your baby's heartbeat whenever you want gives you such reassurance.......you just don't even know. I'm SO glad I discovered that you could rent these during my last pregnancy. It was a GOD send, especially since I had gone into pre-term labor and was confined to bed 24/7 for a lot of my pregnancy. It was good to know I could just check on him whenever I wanted to. I got the doppler this time early on because I wanted that same reassurance. Now I can listen to her whenever I want. And for 20 bucks a month? Best money I ever spent! lol At least check out the site. You can spend more money on their supposed "better" ones, but I never, ever had a problem with the 20 dollar one with getting the baby's heartbeat. Don't freak yourself out if you can't get it right away. Doesn't mean anything is wrong. Just might mean your baby is really far down there and the equipment isn't picking it up quite yet. By 11-12 weeks, you should be able to find it fairly quickly though.

Good luck. I hope this helps you!

Just to reassure you, I am only a week past where you are (roughly) and my symptoms have been less obvious since last week. I also had an appointment last week and the Dr. heard the heartbeat. This is a weird time in pregnancy, I agree. There's no way of knowing what's going on in there, but I trust it's going well unless there's some evidence to the contrary.
