Questions for the Pediatrician

Hi All -

We're having meet & greets with two pediatricians in the next two weeks...cutting it a little close since I'll be induced before 39 weeks.  Anyhoo...  we need to come up with a list of questions to ask about the doctors themselves and the way the practice is run.  Can you ladies help out and tell me what you asked or plan to ask?

I had a list of questions front and back.  I can't remember all of them now though.

I know I asked about the vaccines being mercury free.
Office hours and how quickly I could get in for a sick visit
What days are well visits done on (I'm off on Friday's and try to make the Dr. day)
Is there an after hours phone line?  Is there a charge (one Dr. charged $30 if it wasn't an emergency)
I wanted to know a little about the pedi background.  I think I asked what med school he had attended and if he ever went to additional training.
My ped is the only Dr. in his practice.  I wanted to know who would see my child if he couldn't
What hospital he has rights at?
What hospital he prefers to send my child for tests if needed.
I had questions about preventing childhood obesity. 

I know I had lot's more, but that's all I can think of now.

Keep pencil and paper handy and write the questions down as you think of them.
