An embarrassing ?

Well, as alot of you know i've been having a troubled pregnancy from the begining. I go back to the highrisk ob on the 27th, and recently switched regular ob's because ofmajor issues I had with the dr I was seeing. I have been on pelvic rest since I was10 weeks along, which is pretty frustrating, and not just for my husband! Anyways, one of the no-no's of course is sex, but they included any kind of ****** for me, because they have a suspicion I am having small tearing of the placenta, which has been causing bleeding, and of course an ****** contracts the uterus. So, heres the truly embarrassing thing... the last few weeks i've been waking up to, well, an ****** I can remember my dreams (very racy ones) and then I wake up as im physically, well, contracting. I have never experienced anything like this before, and of course I cant help it. Im going to be meeting my new primary ob on wensday, and am actually embarrassed to bring it up. Im considering waiting for the high risk dr, just because Ive now met him more than once... My ? is, am I a weirdo? Seriously, ive heard of this happening with guys, but I never thought of this happening with girls... andi'm afraid of hurting my baby with my dirty dreams. Id never forgive myself....

In addition, these last few days Im hardly hungry, and sometimes it's uncomfortable when I eat. I kinda have to make myself eat throughout the day, because of my hypoglycemia. Any advice there?

Thanks ladies!

I also have to limit bedroom fun, and find I have these dreams while pregnant too. Last week I had two different nights of them! I am pretty sure it's normal, and not something you can control. You could bring it up, but what are they going to tell you? It's completely unconcious. As long as you aren't choosing to engage in any no-no activity, you can't really help the rest. Good luck! And good dreams...

It's totally normal to have them!  I used to think I was a freak, but since becoming pregnant, I have actually read in several different books & articles that this is something that happens with frequency while pregnant.

I actually used to have ******s while I slept even before I was pregnant!  (They are not as strong as when I am awake, because I always seem to wake up right when they are getting really good!)

I would bring it up to the doc just in case though.  I mean, if you are having them while you sleep, you cannot control it.  I would say something like, "I've noticed that several times per week, I wake up and my uterus is contracting similar to what happens for me during sexual intercourse.  I am concerned because I was advised not to have any sexual climaxes as it can cause bleeding.  But I am unable to control it while I sleep."

As far as the eating thing goes:  I have noticed that I get full quicker than before, but that it always goes away quicker for me.  I just eat smaller amounts, much more often.  I am eating on average every 2 hours.  Is there anything that sounds yummy to you that you wouldn't mind eating?  Maybe it would help you to eat more if you ate things that you liked?

Hope this helps!

It's totally normal pregnant or not. I have them quite often and in no way, shape or form am I complaining. If you're really worried about it, please talk to your doc to get peace of mind. I mean you can't help it, it's natural. If it's not hurting anything - enjoy it!

Happens to me while not pregnant if I go too long.

While preggy I had to ****** every day or it would happen.

I often wondered what would happen if my doc put me on full pelvic rest.

If you ask one of your docs share what they say!
