Question about ovulation and TTC at 35 ..
Hi everyone and Happy Easter!
I'm 3 weeks late and have had 5 BFN's so OBVIOUSLY I'm not pregnant and more than likely didn't ovulate.
So, I'm wondering if because of my age (I'll be 35 in June) is not ovulating / having a regular cycle going to be more common for me thus making it much harder to get pregnant?
I'm so scared to get pregnant at my age. Not just because since I miscarried in November I'm gun shy but for ALL the other reasons that come with pregnancy after 35.
Am I just being overly cautious and causing more stress in my life? 35 is NOT old by any means - should I just get over myself?
Someone please just give it to me straight!

First, try not to stress yourself out! I can't give you an answer to all your questions but give you info from my journey.
I turned 35 this past November and am 19 weeks with my first child. I had regular cycles monthly and had two losses last year. My RE stated that at 35 your chance of getting pregnant every month is 5% less than a 21 year old. He always assured me I wasn't old.
You did get pregnant last year, so it can happen. If your cycle is extremely rare every month, then you might follow up with the doctor.
Sending you lots of positive vibes!!'

Don't fret your age. An occasional annovulatory cycle is completely normal. If you don't get AF soon, go see your OB and have them prescribe you some progesterone to take and then stop to get AF to come. I know plenty of young women that have the occasional annovulatory.
