OT: question for moms with little movers

Once he was rocking on hand and knees, he learned pretty quickly how to crawl to the couch and then pull himself up.  We started baby proofing when he went up on his hands and knees.  Great catalog for child/proofing safety ideas is One Step Ahead.

They start to move fast!  Cooper is scooting not crawling but anything he sees that looks like he could stick his fingers (or tongue) into or pull down from a higher location he makes this "hee hee" sound and takes off! 

That being said we haven't done a bang-up job of babyproofing yet.... no gates up, but all the sockets are covered, cabinets are locked and those little white things on the end of the door stops are gone. 

Cooper just seems to love wires..... and we have one we're having problems figuring out what to do with (for the TV/Cable box).  We try to block it....but he knows it's there and says "hee hee" and goes for it.
