OT: question for moms with little movers

How soon did your little one go from getting up on hands and knees and propelling to actual crawling. I'm trying to figure out how long I have to baby proof. Alex is on all fours as of today, but just propelling and falling at this point.

I'd start now! LOL
My oldest went from sitting up, to standing to walking!
No crawling at all!!
Way too early for my liking too!
But I was lucky she didnt get into much.
My second one though....OMG!!!!
She crawled for a few weeks then went straight to climbing! LOL
We had to lock,block, everything u name it.

Matthew was up on all fours rocking for about a week and a half.  Then he started crawling really good.

Wont be long now.  Id start crawling around myself very soon If I were you and see what they see that would be interesting..lol

I would say within the week he'll be able to move closer to things. Even if he just falls forward and then gets up and does it again, he's going to be moving. My daughter did the army man crawl for the longest time before she'd do the traditional baby crawl, it was pretty funny.

He already gets across the room and into things.. I was hoping I'd have a little more time though before he could do it in a split second.  Right now, he does the roll to get to where he needs.
